So tell the people, 'This is what the LORD of Armies says: Return to me--this is the declaration of the LORD of Armies--and I will return to you, says the LORD of Armies.
Tonight, I was reflecting on where I have been, where I am, and where I am going. Sometimes, in the midst of living life and chasing our dreams, we get off track. We often find ourselves lost and far away from our original destination. Perhaps, we feel lost and cannot imagine getting back to the business of following our dreams.
The Lord reminded me tonight that everything begins and end with Him. If we feel off track, he is the most proficient GPS available. He tells us if we return to Him, He will return to us. What an awesome promise!
How do we return to someone who never left us? Acknowledge His presence and power in and over your life. Begin to seek His face through prayer, meditation, study, praise, worship. These acts will bring you closer to Him.
Write down every thought and idea that comes to mind. Don’t critique the thought nor evaluate it. Think of where God has brought you from. Take a small or large step every day as the Lord leads you.
Remember, we are never too far from God for Him to reach us and bring us into the center of His will.
This was on my mind tonight because I was thinking of dreams deferred and passions lost. I will be aligned with the will of God and so will you.
